By using the Landscape Material Calculator (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the site. We’ve kept them brief and readable.

The service

The site is a free tool that estimates quantities of landscaping materials (gravel, crushed stone, river rock, sand, topsoil, mulch and concrete) from the dimensions you enter. It runs in your browser, requires no account, and is provided at no charge.

Estimates only — verify before you order

Results are estimates for planning purposes. Volume is calculated from the dimensions you provide; weight (tonnage) is derived from average loose, dry bulk densities that vary with material source, moisture and compaction, and bag counts assume common retail bag sizes. Actual quantities, weights and coverage can differ. Always confirm required depths, delivered weights and quantities with your material supplier or a qualified professional before purchasing, ordering delivery, or beginning work. You are responsible for the dimensions and options you enter and for how you use the results.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that calculations are error-free or suitable for any specific project.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage — including over- or under-ordering, wasted materials, delivery costs, or project delays — arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its results.

Acceptable use

Please don’t misuse the site: no attempts to disrupt or overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it unlawfully. The site’s content, layout and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law; you may use the tool for its intended purpose but not copy or redistribute the site wholesale.

The site may show third-party advertising (see our Privacy Policy) and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of those third parties.

Changes

We may update these terms or the site at any time. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms. When we update them, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above.
